A pour-over coffee maker designed to be the most beautiful object on your counter, and the best part of your morning. Just coffee, water, and four quiet minutes for a fresh start to the day.
The best part of your morning coffee shouldn't start with the first sip.
It should be something you look forward to, a small part of the day that feels considered, enjoyable, and entirely yours.
With Pure Over, the experience begins while you're making it. Beautiful glass, the aroma of fresh coffee, the bloom as you pour, and a brewing process that makes the everyday feel a little more special.
Every piece is handmade with mold-assisted techniques by glass artisans using borosilicate glass (the same material used in laboratories for its clarity, strength, and resistance to heat). The ceramic bases keep everything steady and protect your surfaces.
It's not hiding in a cabinet.
It's the thing your guests ask about.
The process takes longer than a plastic pod in a coffee maker, but it's making me slow down my mornings a bit... I enjoy my coffee more... a great beginning to each new day.
Such a mindful experience and a morning ritual. A peaceful time to brew your coffee and contemplate your day. My coffee tastes so much better and no more filters! We are over the moon.
I fell in love with it because of my new ritualistic mornings. Every morning I love going through the steps of coffee making. It's relaxing and sets the tone for the rest of the day.
It's exquisitely beautiful and such high quality that it's worthy of displaying on my counter... which I normally don't like to do.
Since receiving my Pure Over, I have enjoyed the most delicious cup of coffee I have ever experienced. The slow drip causes me to also slow down and enjoy the process. The glass styling is brilliantly made.
I have at least 8 methods of brewing on my coffee counter at all times and none draw me in the way that Pure Over does!
“One day in the glass shop, I ran out of paper filters and the idea of combining my love of glass and coffee was born.
As an engineer, the challenge of making coffee with glass using the techniques I live and breathe every day was exciting.
Since then, we've been on a mission to reimagine the products you love.”

Our Brew Kit is designed for fresh-to-cup brewing, rather than keeping coffee on a hot plate. The borosilicate glass helps retain heat, and we recommend preheating your brewer with hot water before brewing.
Our Brew Kit makes up to 20 oz (about 2 large cups) at a time, with a single cup taking about 4–5 minutes to brew.
Pure Over uses a process called cake filtration. It's a process in which the ground coffee acts as a filter itself. Along with the built in glass filter, this makes for a bold, full bodied cup of coffee.
Much like a French Press, some sediment will get through the filter. The microfines and oils that are allowed through play a big part in delivering a flavorful cup with a smooth mouthfeel. However, by brewing into a carafe, you have more control of the pour. For less sediment, pour all but the last ounce or two into your mug. This will allow the sediment to remain within the Carafe.
We recommend a medium-coarse grind. This helps water flow evenly through the coffee grounds for a balanced extraction. Very fine grinds, like espresso or store bought pre-ground coffee, can slow down the brewing process or clog the filter.
Cleanup is simple. Gently tap the used grounds into your compost or trash (you can also use a spoon to scoop them out). Then rinse with water and place it into the dishwasher!
The Pure Over Brew Kit was specifically designed to brew without paper filters. Its built-in glass filter allows more of the coffee's natural oils and aromatic compounds to pass through, creating a fuller-bodied cup.
If you want to reduce coffee oils, you can experiment with a small rinsed paper filter, such as an AeroPress filter. However, the brewer is designed to work beautifully without one.
The Brew Kit is a manual pour-over brewing system, so you'll need to heat your water separately before brewing.
Some mornings you just get through.
This one, you get to enjoy.
