Pure Over is founded by glass artist, Etai Rahmil.

“One day, I ran out of paper coffee filters in the glass shop, and the idea of combining my love of glass and coffee collided. I’m an engineer at heart, so the challenge of using glass to accomplish something like making coffee using the unconventional glass techniques I live and breathe everyday, is super exciting… Plus, running out of paper filters in the middle of a workday is no fun, which happened way too many times! Since that first day we’ve been on a mission to create products for your coffee bar that are designed to live and work together. Using glass and ceramic as our building blocks, we’re reimagining the products you love”.

WHY PURE OVER?

We chose the name Pure Over because we believe in using materials that amplify the idea of Pure over everything. What you use to brew, drink, and/or serve your favorite beverage has a direct impact on the outcome. Pure taste, pure intentions, and pure enjoyment.

Non-Toxic Materials

Made from borosilicate glass, an inert and non-reactive material, Pure Over products keep metal, plastic, and harmful chemicals – such as PFAS, BPA, phthalates, and heavy metals – out of your coffee.

Pure Flavor. Nothing Else.

Plastic tastes like plastic. Metal tastes like metal. Glass tastes like nothing. Say g’bye to paper, metal, and plastic residual tastes.

Designed to Live Proudly in Your Home.

Meticulously designed by a skilled glass artist, each piece is meant to be a standout on your countertop, not hidden in a cabinet.

SUPPORTING THE CRUCIBLE

As an artist founded company, we believe in the power that artists and craftspeople have to make our world a more meaningful and beautiful place. That's why we've partnered with The Crucible, the largest nonprofit organization and art school dedicated to making the fine and industrial arts accessible for all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

We are proud to donate a portion of profits, and support the Crucible community and purpose with classes taught by our founder, Etai Rahmil.
