Step 1
Fill French Press with 50 grams of coarse coffee grounds, (about 1/2 cup depending on your roast).

Pour off boiling water (195°F-205°F) onto coffee grounds. Fill water to the top handle connection point (740 grams).

Step 3
Give it a good stir (20-30 seconds), to ensure all the grounds are saturated.

Step 4
Set the filter just above the waterline and place the lid on top.

Step 5
Wait 4 minutes, then slowly press the plunger down, pushing all the grounds to the bottom of the carafe.

Pour and enjoy! Want a stronger cup? Let it steep an extra 30-45sec before plunging.

What is your return policy?
We offer hassle free exchanges or returns within 30 days of your order being delivered to your home. We will cover the return shipping fees within the US up to 30 days after your Pure Over order is delivered. Please send us an email at support@pureover.com to process your return.
Does sediment fall into my coffee cup?
Some sediment will get through the filter. The microfines and oils that are allowed through play a big part in delivering a flavorful cup with a smooth mouthfeel.
How much coffee do I use?
50g of coarse ground coffee.
Does the French Press need paper filters?
No. The Pure Over French Press does not use paper filters.
How long does it take to brew with Pure Over?
An average brew takes 4 to 5 minutes.
Is Pure Over dishwasher safe?
The carafe should be hand-washed due to the double-wall glass. While double-wall might be safe in the dishwasher, it is generally recommended to hand-wash double-wall glass to avoid the risk of water seeping into the layers or causing damage due to high heat and pressure in the dishwasher.

"Went the full spectrum of 3 different pour overs, Aeropress, Ceado Hoop, PureOver, Each one a step up (better taste, ease of use, ease of clean-up, fewer problems). This French Press wins. Taste (using very good beans, good water, good grinder, scale and kettle); ease of use, ease of clean-up, size (my regular 15 oz. Cup, with guests can go 26. 5 oz); flexibility (I no longer actually “press” just stir 30 secs, then set the plunger to the very top of the brewing water, wait 4. 5 minutes, pour thru the un-plunged plunger…. slmost no grit/fines (normal plunging stirs those all up to the detriment). Mlove this. Nbeautifully made."

I love even more that they are not stainless steel, which most contain nickel and chromium that naturally leech into acidic beverage (like coffee) and leech even more if the beverage is hot (which is most times the case when using a press).
