Never buy paper filters again. Comes with a built in glass filter. So no need to worry about having to buy paper filters ever again!

Flavor
Full-bodied richness
Glass preserves all natural oils and flavors for a complete taste experience
Muted flavor
Plastic and paper absorbs essential oils, leaving coffee flat and one-dimensional
Materials
Pure borosilicate glass
Chemical-free, sustainable, and reusable for years
Plastic parts
Plastic tank, plastic tubes, plastic drip head (often polypropylene)
Aroma
Aromatic excellence
Glass doesn't trap aromas, delivering the full coffee fragrance
Trapped aromas
Paper fibers absorb and diminish the coffee's natural aroma
Experience
Clean from brew to cup
No plastic exposure during brewing. Just pure coffee in every cup.
Heat + plastic exposure
92x more microplastic particles are released when plastic touches hot water.*
Pour hot water into the glass brewer, swirl it around, then discard. This keeps your coffee hot and promotes an even extraction.
Step 1
Grind coffee to medium - coarse. For a single cup use 20g, for two cups use 30g. Pour grounds into glass dripper.
Step 2
Pour grounds directly into the glass dripper.
Step 3
Pour hot water (~ 210℉) through diffuser lid until grounds are saturated & allow it to bloom for 45 seconds.
Step 4
Continue to pour water through the diffuser lid until the water level reaches the handle connection.
Step 5
Allow water to fully drip through the grounds.
Step 6
Place dripper back on base and enjoy!

Our Brew Kit is designed for fresh-to-cup brewing, rather than keeping coffee on a hot plate. The borosilicate glass helps retain heat, and we recommend preheating your brewer with hot water before brewing.
Our Brew Kit makes up to 20 oz (about 2 large cups) at a time, with a single cup taking about 4–5 minutes to brew.
Pure Over uses a process called cake filtration. It's a process in which the ground coffee acts as a filter itself. Along with the built in glass filter, this makes for a bold, full bodied cup of coffee.
Much like a French Press, some sediment will get through the filter. The microfines and oils that are allowed through play a big part in delivering a flavorful cup with a smooth mouthfeel. However, by brewing into a carafe, you have more control of the pour. For less sediment, pour all but the last ounce or two into your mug. This will allow the sediment to remain within the Carafe.
We recommend a medium-coarse grind. This helps water flow evenly through the coffee grounds for a balanced extraction. Very fine grinds, like espresso or store bought pre-ground coffee, can slow down the brewing process or clog the filter.
Cleanup is simple. Gently tap the used grounds into your compost or trash (you can also use a spoon to scoop them out). Then rinse with water and place it into the dishwasher!
The Pure Over Brew Kit was specifically designed to brew without paper filters. Its built-in glass filter allows more of the coffee's natural oils and aromatic compounds to pass through, creating a fuller-bodied cup.
If you want to reduce coffee oils, you can experiment with a small rinsed paper filter, such as an AeroPress filter. However, the brewer is designed to work beautifully without one.
The Brew Kit is a manual pour-over brewing system, so you'll need to heat your water separately before brewing.
Overall rating: 4.6210375 / 5 from 694 reviews.

The kit is visually beautiful and prepares great low waste coffee. The brew quality and consistency are consistently praised, and the filter effectively eliminates the need for paper filters.

"Bought it on a whim after the targeted ads got me. Makes the most flavorful coffee I’ve had in forever. I see other reviewers saying it’s hard to clean and to keep from getting stopped up, but I have had the exact opposite experience. It’s way easier to clean and to keep clean than my French press. I use it every weekend it’s been a godsend."
"If it's a way to brew coffee, i've tried it. This is by far my favorite! I was hesitant to try this and was fully expecting to find grounds in the bottom of my cup. Totally not the case. The instructions included were excellent. And I love that it's so easy to clean and you can make a standardized cup. Two standard cups. Or if you're like me, it all goes into one big cup of the best home brew i've ever made."
"I thought it would take time to learn or of course, there would be a lot of grounds filling into my cup— but no! I followed the instructions and wow— an amazing cup of home brew coffee! This was a treat from the time of opening. It’s beautiful!"
"I just finished my first cup of coffee made it my new Pure Over! It was delicious! The coffee maker is beautiful! The glass feels so nice in my hand, and looks amazing on my kitchen counter. If you’re thinking about buying one, do it! No more plastic!!"
"Had really been enjoying cold brew over my French Press recently. It’s getting cool again in my area and the cold brew just wasn’t doing it. This is now hands down my favorite cup of coffee! No cold brew in the fridge looking forward to tomorrow mornings cup."
"I appreciate that the Pure Over encourages one to slow down and enjoy the process of creating a cup of coffee. I was looking for plastic free alternative to brewing coffee at home. I stumbled upon the Pure Over, read the reviews, and was intrigued by the idea that it was engineered by a glass artist. I did have to experiment a bit with the process but overall I am pleased with the results and the quality of the kit."
"Simply delicious coffee. It’s all about giving it a proper bloom time with just enough water that it doesn’t start to drip through immediately. Brew within the sweet spot temperature range and get the glass hot with a rinse before the coffee pour over. Guaranteed you’re gonna have one great cup. Or two!"
"I absolutely love my PUREOVER coffee maker. A fresh deliciously flavorful cup of coffee. No nanoplastics, no metals. Just a perfect cup of coffee in 5 minutes. Easy to make and easy to clean up with hot water and clean dish soap."
"This is an excellent product. Makes the best coffee ever. Make sure u get good beans, or it won’t be that great. Highly recommend 😎👍☕️."
"Arrived broken and the company refuses to answer my multiple emails. There was no padding or bubble wrap around the all glass parts and it is useless, obviously. I want a full refund and will never buy from a company that has such poor, unresponsive customer service again. I would give zero stars if that was an option."
